Hi there,

I'm trying to use window.find() and all browsers I have tried (IE5.5, N4, IE5, Opera 5.12) give me 'Object doesn't support this property or method'

I've looked it up in a JS reference book and its in there! Why won't it work? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Miles,

I haven't used that function yet, so I'd have to look it up as well before I was able to help you.

According to the JavaScript Bible (3rd Edition) that function is only suppored by NN4. That may help you a little by reducing the number of browsers that you test with.

I'm not sure what to tell you. Have you double checked you code? If you're positive that you didn't code something wrong, then I would suggest that you take stop by Netscape's Developer's Network.

Darn.

I've now realised that the Javascript Reference book I have is a dud... Well, its not too bad, but the window.find() description says that it supports IE4+, NS4+. Unfortunately it only supports Netscape %-(
