Using ttymon on unixware

I'm trying to use ct on computer running UnixWare Release 5 Version 7.1.1. I can dial in and out using cu without any difficulty but ct appears to die immediatly (I'm doing all this remotely so it's difficult to know what happening). The ct manual pages tells me i must have the r and b options turned on for ttymon. I'm not familiar with ttymon. Can anyone help?

ttymon is the way in which ports are managed , more accurate info please use # man ttymon , or go to

http://stage.caldera.com/ta

and search with the word ttymon
