hello there, i basically have two clips which one of them i want it to be the size of a TV on the first clip, so i made an image in Photoshop(tv screen) and imported it, and applied the track matte key on the clip to matte the image, the problem is that once i try to scale the clip so it matches the image size, both image and clip become smaller.
so what would be the best way mask a clip onto another clip but the second clip would be in a certain shape, and the whole clip would show in that shape??

thank you

This works in any version of Premiere, except that the mask must be on V2 or higher in pre-Pro versions (ie you can't use V1A and V1B).

For a static setup:

Put mask on top layer with transparent hole for the inset.

Put inset clip underneath and use Motion to scale and position it behind the mask.

thank you very much for the quick response appriciated, i actually did it at the end using AE but thats under a diffrent forum so i wont get into details...

tnx a lot again,

I also prefer AE for precise work, but simple things like hiding behind a mask are just as easy in Premiere.
