Is there a way to make an app always run as administrator? currently we block all our users access to the c drive and there is an app that needs to write to the c drive...i need to set up just that one app to run with administrative rights to the pc...i dont want all the users to have the administrative password though or have to create another account on the local pc for them. Thanks!

hi i have come accross the same problem.
just create a shortcut for that application and then click the properties for that shortcut check the box next to run as diffrent user and then click ok
now everytime the shorcut is doubled clicked it'll ask for a user. you can create a user that has exclusive right permission on c: and use that user for the application Kapil Aggarwal

The problem is i dont want them logging in as that user because then they will have c drive access and be able to do stuff....

there is no built-in way (like, a command option or parameter) to pass a password to the 'runas' feature -- I've researched time and again. I did find funky scripts and stuff out there that essentially recreate the runas command and provide a way to pass in a password. Never tried them, but check them out.
