Using the '*' key in vectors

My office wants to use '*' to repeat options and '#'to go back to main menu... however it doesn't seem that those key strokes are valid or am I missing something? First time i've built vectors from scratch... thanks ahead of time =)

would i be using the + symbol for *?

It will take the "#" but not a "*"

You might look into your docs regarding the Reverse Star/Pound Digit For Collect Step?
This is found under Change System-Parameters Features on or about page 11.

I am not sure if it will allow you to do what is requested but may be a step forward for you.
