I have CM 2.0 on a CSI which is behind another switch.

I wanted to simply add a few analog ports to a trunk group on the CSI for dial out access.

Are there a few quick and easy steps to place calls using ther FAC?

Dial in works fine. But when I try to access (trk/grp1) I see COR issues.
I set the station cor to FRL-7, the trunk grp has FRL-1 (was 0).

You can see my test to FAC 171 fail. (But my test to TAC 170-Qsig seems fine)

Paul, orypecos,

Gentlemen, If I were to try using AAR, would I also be able to dial 3 digit extensions on the Ericsson?

Give me the number ranges in the erickson you wish to dial, plus the trunk group number in the Avaya & I will try & come up with something for you to try.

Ok. Thanks Paul.

I'll dial the 200-299 range in the Ericsson using Trunk group 1

What does the route pattern (254) look like. Don't you have to dial 9 to get out the the ericcson. If so you would only need an entry of 9 with min of 8 & max of 8.

Paul,

Yes, I dial 9 for trunk access on the Ericsson.

Route 254 is empty.

I want to dial local 2xx extensions and then be able to dial 9,xxx-xxxx

Pretty basic huh?

thanks

I would strip out all the aar entries there, add 2 new rotue patterns, add a single entry for 9 in the aar, send it to one of the new route patterns, delete it (1 under teh delete column) & then add it again followed by a pause if need. You really only need to do the delete & insert if the pause is required. Send 2 to another new route pattern for the 2XX locals. I think you really only new 2 entries in the AAR.

If that doesn't work, maybe use a wait for dial tone in the 2 route patterns (put a + in the inserted digits field)
