Hi,

My Optional SD Card Slot is currently empty.. Should I be looking at equipting this slot with an Generic SD Card?
Is there anything I should do to prepare the card before Install? - What exactly is the purpose? If its for backing up
system files, isn't all my information and firmware already in IP Office Manager?

Will this keep my system running if the Primary SD Card fails?

The manual says, it can boot the ip500v2.bin system from the Optional SD
How about the licenses? Do they stay intact if my Primary SD is unreadable?

Thanks!

The manual says, it can boot the ip500v2.bin system from the Optional SD > Yes nice for upgrades
How about the licenses? Do they stay intact if my Primary SD is unreadable? > no, licenses are fully depending on the system SD card, if it is unreadable then no validation of licenses is possible and your IPO won't run.
I never use the second slot and it is of no real use.

A simple mind delivers great solutions

thanks! that answers my question..

I probably will not bother with installing one then.
