I am using a subform in datasheet view. I want to choose by year or quarter. I would have two tests per quarter for a total of 8 tests. They would be grouped by the person's ssn but displaying first and last name of about 75 people. and then view and edit in datasheet view.
Playing around and using the list boxes I thought it would be cool to choose year than choose last name then choose first name or have it filled in based on the last name. Then it would show the 8 test fields ready to be entered or old scores to be viewed. This would only be showing the one record. and then save the new score by simpley filing in the score and tabbing.
all the names are in one table already filled out. I created the year and score fields in one table which are all empty. But I am thinking of having another table for the the years and creating a lookup query.
