You can do this with SQL Server easily. Can you do this with Oracle 8i. If so, how? If not, does anyone know a workaround to mimic the scenario. Basically, I'd like to use a stored proc as a dynamic SQL query (pass in user params, get a rowset returned). The query is to be used with Crystal Reports. I'm new to Oracle, so a coded sample would be appreciated. Thanks.

I was looking into this, from a slightly different angle, I wanted to be able to do...

SELECT ....
FROM pl/sql
WHERE....
Order BY ...

and well it is possible but a bit of a bummer.

how do you access Oracle stuff from Crystal? Can you base a report on an array or would it have to be a query??
