I have a report that I need to let the user specify which ports not to include. The easiest way to do this that I have found is, using a parameter, asking the user for the ports to not include. This parameter then becomes an array. When I try to use the Selection Formula to not include the array, it complains that I must have subscripts on the array elements. Since this can be any number of ports to not include, it becomes impossible to list them all. I am using CR8. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In V8 you can make the paramater field an array by using the "Multiple" check mark. Then you can use the following formula:

{field} <> {?Parameter}

even though this formula wouldn't normally work with an array, Crystal accepts this to mean is not within the array. Ken Hamady

Thanks, I appreciate it. It worked great.
