currently our network is using scriptlogic(kix32), to assign users to their home folders(\\servername\sharefolder\%username%). with this path, users are able to see other users folders and users are also able to create folders on the server. this is getting out of hands. what i plan to do is, to create a new path using scriptlogic or other utility such as (DFS) where users can only see their own folders and assign them to their respective departments(so they can create a folder within their own dept.). i need an input, please help if this is possible to achieve.

thank you,

Yes, it is possible. I am doing this right now with ScriptLogic. If you create your shares with a dollar sign, this will hide the share from other users. so when mapping in Scriptlogic use this format, \\servername\%username%$, create the share at the directory level. Make sure your permission are correct also.
