Iam new to novell, but I would think this should be possible. Just not sure how to do it.

When users logon I need 5 files which are located on their mapped H drive to be copied to a folder on their local c drive.

It will be done for ALL users so I could use a "container" script. The H drive map is already part of the novell logon, so I will need to make sure it runs after that script.
I am just not sure where to start so any help, even if it is just to confirm that it is possible would be helpful.

That's pretty typical and straightforward.

Just create a batch file that does the copy process, then include the batch file in the script. Something like:

#runscript.bat

You could also use a tool called AUTOIT to create a cleaner executable that does the same thing. Autoit is free.

Many thanks, a batch file would work fine.
Can I also run a batch file when the user logs out to copy these files back to the H drive?

I sucessfully attached the bat file to the logon and all works great.

I then created a group attached a policy that has the application object which will copy the files on logout.
But it did not work. On further investigation I found none of the policies work. As far as I can find out we are running Zenworks 3.5 and there is a problem with xp machines. I need a patch??
Any idea where I might get this?
