Using Rad 1

Hello I'm trying to direct access a Mic's 1.1 I get screen with ID and Password, but it won't go any futher. I am trying to use Manager 3.5 for access. I use the same rad with brower for newer systems with no problem. Thanks Joe

The browser will only go back to V2.0, since 1.1 is the old style programming template. You can probably still use the remote set tool, but that may be the only tool you can use.

If you're using Windows XP you will need Norstar Manager 3.7 to program the MICS 1.1.

You will need NRU 8.0 (not NRU 8.1 as it was a flawed version) as a MICS 1.1 ( and the MICS T1/Rel 1 ) require the older version of NRU.

Because the first two versions of MICS software ( 1.1 and t1/Rel 1 )were DR5 platform based, you should use NRU 8.0 and use the "Start on line session" tool for programming changes, and "Run submit job" for backup and restore.

The "open remote tools" should only be used on MICS/CICS 2.0 or higher.
