Using "1" for message descriptors. 1

I have an Option 61C (2911, Rls. 25)that will not accept the "!" plus the message code input from the crt to show the message desscriptor. I cannot seem to find how to turn this simple feature on. Can anyone help?

that is not a feature you can turn on or off, are you using a dumb term, or a pc..check the keyboard map. and does the command work >err schxxxx, is not the trouble is not keyboard but switch, and to make it work, you may need to reload the software... maybe someone else has a rls 25 mod 61, but it should work

Multiuser must be turned on in LD 17.

Thanks John. Actually, I connect to several Option 61C's & 81C's remotely using ProcomPlus. This works for me at all sites but this one.

didn't know about multi-user needing to be turned on, load 22 prt ovly or load 21, (off work this week) it's almost the last prompt in ovly.
