Hi guys, I have a global variable gStrSeminar that is passed to a few forms to populate a label -- this lets the user identify which seminar event they are referring to.

When each user accesses the "plan" form, the value of gStrSeminar is changed --

Im using access 2000 - with the data tables split to be held on the server (access used as a back & front end) -- all the front ends are held on users respective PC --

Question!!! -- could concurrency problems occur with users overwriting the value of gStrSeminar -- or will this value be manipulated with respect to the local environment??

i hope that makes sense -- please help!

All variables and their assignments are stored in RAM, so the variables can be used simultaneously by multiple users without worry. For that matter, if multiple sessions are open on a single PC, the assignments in RAM are also kept independent.
