using proxies to dial by name

Is it possible to have a user act as a proxy for another user (assistant and physician) in such a way that when we setup a dial by name that sends the call to the Assistant even when the caller types the physician name?

Try using bridge appearance off the other extn to appear on your assistant extn.

This way the assistant can see the calls for the physician
