Hi,
I used to call my report using this kind of url :

It was with CR 8 CWS.

Now I installed CR Enterprise and it's broke. I need to use :

in the doc it's specified you can use a ReportName parameters with the java applet to ask a report without giving his ID but the filename on the server.

I never managed to make it working, I missed something ? or it's simply impossible ?

Regards,

Julien

When you view unmanaged report, you don't have to use 'viewrpt.cwr'. Old syntax works with CE's WCS.

Hope this helps you,

I use 2 servers
1 under windows NT with CE
2 under linux/apache with CWS module for apache

and it look like the old syntax doesn't work
I tryied to put RPT on server 1 CE web content directory or in server 2 CE directory, it's the same

Hi,

as far as I know, the rpt has to be in a directory on the NT Server with CE.
This directory has to be mapped to a Virtual Path on the Webserver in the asapi.conf File:

Alias /report /usr/local/crystal/report
.
AddPathMap /report rpt "D:\Seagate\Reports"

where "D:\Seagate\Reports" holds your rpt file.
The dir /usr/local/crystal/report doesn't need to contain any files, it only must exist for succesfully creating the alias.

Regards
Carsten
