Hi,

Is there any option that I can use with proc report using ODS to handle the situation below
When the number of columns don't fit in a page they will be printed in the next page instead of at the bottom of the sane page.

For example this is what is getting printed in my report
PROC REPORT has space only till "TERM" so the remaining variables BODSYS and DECOD will be printed down on the same page instead of going to the next page

SUBJID COUNTRY DOB RACE SEX TERM 1 NA 10/12/88 American Female CV
2 NA 11/14/78 American Male ED 3 NA 10/04/65 American Male CV 4 NA 10/11/68 American Female CV

DECOD BODSYS
AE HEART
CB EYE
BS HEAD
DF LUNG

Sorry the first four obs are getting wrapped up

What ODS output are you using?

I found the issue a problem as well. What I try to do is put it in a pdf file. I also use code to combine several variables into 1 field. That seems to help.

key=LEFT(var1)||" var2= "||LEFTvar2)||" var3= "||LEFT(var3);

you can add variable naming text to enhance readability.

Hi Chris, I plan to create an RTF file.

Dje, In my case its not possible to concatenate different variables,every variable has to be in a separate column.
