I've started this thread also at the win2000 forum but after doing it, i've thought it would be better to start it here. So here it is.
I have a Novell Netware 4.11 and machines running under Windows 98 and Windows 2000, with the Novell client.
I want to share a printer connected to the parallel port of a windows 2000 workstation using netware queues . I've tried to use nptwin95 as I've done until now (with win98 and win95) but it does not work.
Does anyone know how I'm supposed to do that now?

Can't do it. As the name suggests, NPTWIN95 is a Windows 9x product and not supported on the NT platform.

If you want to keep it managed on the Novell queues, you need to get an external print server for the printer and attach through the network. Or get a real network printer.

You can also share it from w2k, be we all know that doing it that way is a pretty sloppy solution.

I suppose you could also just move the printer to one of your Windows 98 systems.. there's an easy fix.

I back Marvin on this. Unless your office is really small, 6 or less users, I would go with a stand alone print server (I happen to likke both HP JetDirect and Lexmark NetMark). Otherwise a printer with internal NIC.

At the very least use an old PC as a dedicated print server.

Thanks so much for your answers.
I will have to think about the solutions you've given me.

I've had the same problem.
I take an old DOS machine, I buy 2 old paralell ports and now, I have on the same "printer server" 5 printers:

LPT1
LPT2
LPT3
COM2
COM3
