Using more than 2GB of RAM

I've edited page.h and recompiled to no avial == kernel panic. Anyone with instructions or ideas on using more than 2GB of RAM?
 
what Linux distro are you using norse? It doesnt matter which distro you're using if you compile your own kernel.. There's an option in the kernel configuration for upto 4GB of memory..<br>
