Do <= or >= work in selection formulas in version 8.5?
When I try to use the formula editor to use greater then and equal to it gets changed back to to and from after I save it. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank You
Greg

Where are you making the changes? It sounds like you may be editing the Database, Show SQL query directly. I know this can be done, but I would recommend making your changes in Report, Edit Selection Formula, Record option.

If you make your changes there, it will generate WHERE clause portion of you SQL statement that you see in Database, Show SQL.

bdreed35 thanks for the reply.
It is in the select expert and I am using parameters on Lotus Notes data source. It is number that I am comparing. When I edit the selection in the formula editor and try to use the <= or >= it lets me enter them, but when I save it then reopen it it is back to in and to which works out to be between.
Thank You

I believe that "in" and "to" when used with dates include values in both ends of the range, not just between.

It does with the top end of the range, but when I enter zero in the lower end of the range it does not return the records with zero. Any ideas? If I use one parameter and do less than it returns the records with zero

Thank You
Greg

On the parameter popup screen do you have "include value" checked for "start of range"? Or is it possible that your 0 is actually a slightly less than 0 value like -.005 that rounds to 0?
