I am in charge of setting up a reasonable network for a new
business and that also includes a phone system in addition
to Internet access. To cut costs I was thinking of using
Linux and a telephony card to create a Linux-based PBX
phone system using a few channels from a T1 line for voice
and the rest of course for Internet access. My question is,
using a simple Slackware distribution on a Linux gateway,
what is required to set up a successful telephony system
(hardware/software wise)?
