I have this mileage calulation for our different trucks. I want to make my default value for the beginning odometer reading to be equal to the ending odometer reading for the previous day. What do I need to do? Or if this can't be done what kind of validation rule can I have to minimize someone entering the wrong mileage.

Do you write VBA code? You can use the form's Current event to do a DLookup() for the previous ending odometer reading, and store that value in the beginning odometer reading text box's Default property.
