I want to be able to enter, for example "17", in a date field and have that converted to the current month and year (e.g. 17 Dec 1999). Any suggestions?

Hiya Geekette,

This is as far as I got on your question. Used as a control source for a control, it results in a date formatted control.

Month(Now()) & "/" & [Form control Name] & "/" & Year(Now())

Hope this helps!
