Got a wierd problem here...

In ASP I am using the <%=Date()%> and on my w2k Server it returns m/d/yyyy.

Easy I think - I need to edit the regional settings on the Server to show UK Date format and dd/mm/yyyy.

I get there and the properties are set already, so I run a date prompt in a vbs file ie

msg box Date() this returns 26/02/2002 which is perfect but not in the asp page... it always gets screwed up!!!!

Domain Setup: I am in a mixed mode NT/w2k network and the intranet server is at fault...

HELP

Hi:

You should define local settings by declaring:

Session.LCID = 2057 'This is english U.K. format

Regards

Hmmm I had already tried that... it doesn't do anything to the date format. I saw that work around on the MS KB but it does nothing for me.

In DOS if I do a "net time \\server " it displays the date in us format....

If I do a "date" command it display in UK Format!!!!

This is just plain weird.
