Using data from a filtered subform in a report

How do use data from a filtered subform in a report?

I would like for the report to only list items that come from the filtered sub form.

You can possibly extract the filter value with syntax like:
Forms!frmMain!sfrmCntrlName.Form.Filter
You might then use this value as the where clause in the docmd.openreport method.
