I wanted to make a field (access) and have a button somehow connected to the LPT port and when I press the button, have a counter that counts up. is there a way to do this?

thanks,

You'll need the use of a dll that give you some control of the printer port. InpOut32.dll is a free one. Do a google search for this dll and you'll probably find some examples of how to use it.

Er, why are you trying to connect to the USB or LPT port?
