I presume that IP Office was really designed for PRI, and I guess that works quite well.

How does IP Office cope with 4 BRI lines (8 channels)? I've heard that there's issues with timing, and calls can be dropped.

What about using PRI + BRI. Anyone know if that works OK or not.

Hi IThack,

All our customers use BRI lines and we don't have problem with them.

Kind regards

I think BRI is supported in U.S., but not practical because BRI are not a standardly used. We mostly use PRI circuits and straight T-1 circuits. These both prove to work well.

One of my IP Office dreams would be to have BRIs supported in US. Been told many times that it will never happen...

Unfortunetly, The industry doesnt take into consideration the opinions of the technicians who are in the trenches doing the real work. Instead, industry standards are set by those who know little about the real world and are mostly influenced by budget restraints and the constant hackeling by stockholders who would like to see more profits rather than to reinvest in research.
