Using Avaya Site Admin for Nortel

I could have sworn I did this a few years ago when I needed to pull stations from an old Nortel Option to build a new Avaya switch but after many experiments I am no where today. Has anyone used ASA to dial into any of the Nortel options via modem please?
We cannot get Procomm to load and run correctly on our new Windows 7 laptops. We have XP machines for legacy stuff but it sure was handy to use the PC and the laptop simultaneously for tie trunk issues where we had to busy and release both sides. Sorry, disable and enable... (grin)

Procomm Plus does work on Windows 7 as long as you don't install it in the Program Files folder as this restricts the use of the tool.

Avaya Site administration (ASA) will not work on Nortel switches. You can use ProComm, SecureCRT, or Putty
