Has anyone been able to install and use a 4630SW on a IP Office 500?
Thanks

no because it is not supported

But the phones are sold as IP Office phones. When you look around on the Web and even on Avaya documents they show them connecting to IPO 406 using a media server.

Westi is still right. Quote the URL or Avaya document.

@TeamPcs Have a look a the matrix for 4.2 on tab 7

What happen to the idea of "Open Standard"? If the phone supports H.323, then why would it not work?
Is there any plans to bring a phone with color and touch screen to the IP Office platform? We have this asked all the time by customers.

Thanks

on the doc you provided on page 4
Avaya 4630SW IP Telephone (Avaya Communication Manager only)
2.0.2
Open standard works if you have a third party license you can use a different h.323 phone then Avaya but that doesn't mean that you can use any avaya phone or ANY other H.323 phone.
would be nice but just doesn't work
