When the CallPilot HA systems fails over to the standby server should a CLAN Client be able to load AppBuilder and build or modify Applications.
When this happen on our HA system we got a message that stated; because of no dongle, some applications will not load.

Normal?

When the primary CallPilot server fails and you come up on the secondary server, to use AppBuilder, you need to move the Dongle to the secondary server.
Also, for the Manager to failover properly, you need to be pointing to the CallPilot virtual address. Not to either of the specific CLAN IP addresses.

Thanks for the reply; we found that we could open AppBuilder on the Standby Server, build or modify app’s just fine. I was told that if the standby by server is going to be online for an extended time to move the dongle.
