Hi All
I have setup a new install of CCM 4.1 and i have a 2620 router with a NM-1v and vic-2fxo in it as the gateway to the PSTN. I have had the system running with no problems under CCM 3.3 MGCP but the only options i have under the gateway on CCM 4.1 is for VIC2-2FXO. I have set this up but the gateway is not registering. on the gateway i get the following under the

sh mgcp statistics
UDP pkts rx 25139, tx 131656

can i not use the vic-2fxo with ccm 4.1 or do i have to set it up as a h323 gateway? if so does anyone have a link on how this is done?

Thanks

Dave

It appears that H323 is your only option. I set up an MGCP gateway on a 1760 with a VIC-2FXO and 4.1 accepts that option. It could be a 2620 IOS issue.
