Using a Serial to IP Adapter to connect to a norstar Fast RAD

Does anyone have experience doing this and if so using what adapter and what settings.

I've used a USB to Serial adapter cable on a number of devices that require a comm port connection OK.

I finally got a DIGI One SP to work correctly. Works very well. Another device worked but would not release the port when the connection was closed thus locking up the RAD.
