Using a line on a field to seperate results, but not on last record

I have a report where on the left is company information and on the right lists all projects related to that company. I would like to put a line in between my projects to seperate them but I don't want the line to show on the last record because I have a solid line showing between each company. I've tried right-clicking on the field and formatting the line to show on the bottom of the field but can't get the formula right on how to eliminate it on the last record for that grouping of companies. Here's how it looks. As you can see the line before the main line looks stupid and would look better if we could eliminate if from printing on the last record.

There's just got to be a way to do this. Oh, I'm using CR10 and ODBC.

(If the columns aren't lined up with each other it's because of the spacing in the message area on this site. Anyway, they really are lined up correctly on the report.)

Thanks for any help!!!!!

I would right click the section and select insert section below and place the line in the new section, shrinking it up to look like about the same.

Right click the new section and select Section Expert, and in the X 2 next to Suppress place

ONLASTRECORD

-k

Well, it looked like a good idea but it didn't work.

If by chance you're grouping on company, add this addition to SV's formula:

Next({Table.GroupField}) <> {Table.GroupField}
or
OnLastRecord

-dav

It does work.

As Dave points out, if it's NOT the last row of the report, then it won't.

Also if you have some suppression at work then it may not even with Dave's suggestion.

A thorough understanding of your report is required, and you've supplied very little technical info.

At second glance, since you state "eliminate it on the last record for that grouping of companies. ", it sounds liek you have more than one grouping, so modify Dave's addition slightly:

Next({Table.OuterGroupField}) <> {Table.OuterGroupField}
or
OnLastRecord

-k

OK...it kinda worked this time but there are still some showing even when there's no project showing. Here's what it looks like now.
