Hi to all of you,

I wan to use a function in a control source of a textbox, and it doesn't works.

the thing is, that it's a own developed function. the function should convert a numeric value to a certain string. (the values and the strings are stored in a table. )

the function works ok when it is triggered in an event, but now i would like tio use it as a control source?

is it possible? any suggestion?

Thanks

but what if i'll install the access application on a PC with different regional settings - will this be a problem? or once it is compiled, then it doesn't matter what's the computers settings?

OK, here is some MS Access "magic" I found

I changed my own regional settings, and made comma as list separator, then I opened my form (in form view) and it worked perfect!
So, I then opened it in design view, and what i see is... all the semi-colon's where converted to comma's!!! (and vice versa)

all the best,
Ja
