I am using Access 2007. I have created a table that represents a data log. At daily intervals, data from a instrument is logged. There are three fields in the table: Tag, Date_Stamp, and Tag_Val. The transmitter name is in the Tag field, Date_Stamp is the day it was recorded, and Tag_Val is the instrument reading. I have created about 20 records in the table. There are only two different instruments in the table at this time. Each instrument has a daily reading, thus there are 10 days for each tag.

I created a report using the wizard that grouped by the tag field. This part works fine. I added a chart in the footer section of the group. This is show the trend of the instrument over the days it was logged. The graph seem to work fine with one exception. It shows both instruments in the report when run. I can show only the record I want to see in the report when I use a filter. There may be times when a report of all instruments will needed. But only the graph for that instrument should be shown in the report.

What do I need to do to correct the chart so that it shows only the instrument that is printed in the group at that time?

How can I modify the chart to print the tag (instrument id) in the chart title?
