Ok after looking around I cant find this information

(I will be happy to write up a small FAQ on how to do this if i could get some help figuring the settings out)

I need to know a number of things about the firebox, the muvpn client provided by watchguard is giving my machines allot of trouble, and isn't as convienent as other vpn client software I have used, I'm having a problem figuring out all the settings, and was wondering if you all would be able to help

(If anyone is curious the vpn client in question is SSH Sentinel)

I have two stages

IKE Proposal-
Encryption Algorithm:
Integrity Function:
IKE Mode:
IKE Group:

IPSec Proposal-
Encryption Algorithm:
Integrity Function:
IPSec Mode: (I have determined its tunnel)
PFS Group:

and the "lifetime in minutes" _and_ "lifetime in MB" of BOTH the IKE and IPSec Proposal....

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Watchguard use the OEM safenet VP client. However, according to Safenet, the OEM versions are usually a few versions behind. So, maybe it's worth you looking at the latest Safenet cliet rather than Watchguard's version.

What problems are you actually having? I know there are a few problems with the Safene client, bt in terms of requirements it's no worse than, say, the Cisco VPN client in some respects

Performance suffers compared to other vpn clients I have used, and seeing the fireboxes performance on straight site to site vpn, i dont believe its the fireboxes fault, so that leaves safenet in question, Im also having trouble with its compatability in some enviroments on windows xp with a app i have installed, which i dont have with SSH Sentinel and i am am merelyl ooking for alternatives (if there are any) I realize with some work I can use a IPSec tunnel, but id like a way to utilize its MUVPN features instead of goingthrough all the hassle for every client, any help would be greatly apreciated.
