Hello
Could anyone offer any enlightenment on the following two points...
1) On three of our NT4 machines on which weve installed VScan 4.5.1 SP1 through ePo, the users have been experiencing strange errors with their start menus freezing and not functioning.
Having gone round the houses trying to figure possible causes, it was concluded that the only change that has been made to these machines recently is the upgrade of Vscan to v4.5.1sp1 from v4.5.0.
Sure enough, when we disabled and/or uninstalled the Vscan these errors magically disappeared.
Were running other NT machines with Vscan 4.5.1sp1 beautifully. Now the only thing that sets the said three machines with problems apart is the fact theat they run CONDUCTOR 32......is this a known error i.e. could there be a clash between these two programs???
Any ideas as to a work around if this is the case?
2) As a result, were trying to send these users back to 4.50, but trying to install this version into the repository in ePo 2.5.1 we get an error saying that the NAP file is for an older version of ePo and we need a version 2.0 or higher NAP file.
Any idea where to get a more up to date NAP file for VS 4.5.0 ?
Ive tried downloading "Vscan 4.5.0 sp1" from the NAI site but there is no NAP file included.
The NAP file we tried to load into the repository is off our Total Virus Defence 4.5 CD......cheers
