Using 2000 server to distribute Windows XP updates

We have XP clients connecting to a 2000 server. The clients do not have internet access, nor do we want them to.

We do however want the clients to have all the lastest updates for Windows XP.

Is there any way for the 2000 server to go and get these updates and then distribute them to the clients.

This can be done using Microsoft Software Update Services. Take a look at

this is kind of what i am looking for except you can only run it on Windows 2000 servers that are not DC's I don't have any servers configured this way.

Are there any alteratives to using sus?

Just be aware that Service Packs cannot be rolled -out with this product
