I have a 5 slot shelf and one 308 processor with one 308 expansion card; can i use another 308 processor card or do I need to get another 308EC or a 208 or some other combination to expand the cabinet?
As well, how do you relabel an extension? I had a bad port on the processor card, port 18, and moved that room to the other card and want to make sure that it has the correct extension label to it as it originally had on port 18.
I have done well little programming over the last 8 years on Partner systems in my local area. Would appreciate any suggestions and assistance that might be out there.
Regards
Dan

Another 308ec, 206, 206e or 206ec will work, not another ACS processor.

A processor module will not even fit into any slot other then the center one.

The extension numbers are hard coded to the port, depending on which module it is on, which slot it is in, and what other modules logically come before it. If 18 has bit the dust, you're going to be moving it to another extension number and disregarding that 18 ever existed.

Many thanks for te input. I will look for a 308EC or 206EC card as suggested.
Regards
Dan
