Using 1720 Router for Trunking

Hello All,

I am looking for an IOS version compatible with a Cisco 1720 with 32MB DRAM and 16MB Flash that will do 802.1q trunking. I have tried many versions of IP and IP/ADSL IOS, but on the subinterface when I do an encap ? I get an % Unrecognized command error.

Any help appreciated,

Cisco IOS release 12.2(4)XM will do it. It will run on your 1720 platform.
