I must be an idiot but I searched everywhere and explored everywhere to find how to increase the size of a users shared folder but I cannot figure it out.

Matt, be a bit more specific as I belief diskquota can be the cause of your problem depending of the situation

the advanced search function doesn't even work. i tried typing in ANY word and it says nothing can be found. are quota limits enabled by default on the users shared folders?

I wonder you didn't find what to do after asking your SBS help about quota as suggested 25 May 07 15:17 ...

You aren't increasing the size of a user's folder. You are increasing the maximum allowed size of the user's folder. There is a difference. It's nice to see that you finally ended up doing what was suggested in the very first response to your question.
