We have 2 Citrix Servers - both XPa FR3 running on Windows 2000 Server SP3. All of our users are Power Users on each server.

Users on one server only see their own printers and when they connect to the other server, they see everyone's printer.

By default, power users see all users printers, but I am wondering why they don't see them on one of our servers. Users would prefer this option and I have compared both servers and can't find anything.

Does anyone know how to limit the power users so they do not see everyone elses printer?

How are they connecting to the second server?

From their client or the ica session?

Cheers,
Carl.

We published the Desktop in the Farm (ica). We use load balancing.

Check CTX668903 at support.citrix.com

Basically, if the users are members of the Power Users group, domain admins, or local admin then they will be able to see the printers. You can change this by either modifying the groups or the permissions on the printers.

(There was a bug with older versions of Citrix that sometimes allowed users to see printers when they shouldn't, but you're pretty safe there as you're running XP)

Cheers
