We are running Windows 2000 IE 6 and have a group of users who use the internet and the intranet. I set up the proxy and under the advanced tab have bypass for local address checked, Also under the proxy settings, advanced, exceptions I entered the address of my local ip address (if this is not entered the local intranet site is to slow for the users). This set up works how we want it to, however, when the users log on in the morning they have to reenter the address in the exceptions tab under the internet settings. What can I do to make this setting stay.
Please Help.

Hi,

Delete and recreate the user profile and on that particular machine, on which u r faccing the problem, give the user administrative rights and then see.

That will work however it is against company policy. Do you have any other ideas without giving them more rights?
