Users inbox stopped updating...

I have a user whose outlook suddenly stopped receiving emails to his inbox. I can see that new messages are being received into the mailbox store. But they are not being delivered.
I deleted and reloaded the profile(outlook) thinking it needed to reconnect, but still no new emails.

This mailbox is for our credit union members to contact us so I need to get this corrected asap. Thanks.

check the Personal Folders Inbox, it maybe copying it from his user inbox to the personal folder?
 
If you have OWA enabled, can you see the email that way?

I do not have OWA enabled. I was able to get this corrected late yesterday evening by diabling "Offline Caching". This was a little odd, because caching had been enabled for the last 3 years without any problems!!

We can access the emails now, but I would like to know why the inbox would not sync. The only thing I can think of is an AU from Microsoft, I don't know. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried deleting the ost file for the user, then re enabling offline cache mode? I have had corrupt OST files in the past that can do pretty bizzare things.
