Users get diabled in groups 1

Hi there

Some time ago, some supporters mentioned a problem with users getting disabled for no reason.

In Phone Manager: If you hit the "Delete" key, when youre not on a call, it will disable you in all groups you are member of... Up to v2.0 it isn't mentioned anywhere, in 2.0 it's mentioned as busy wrap-up.

It's therefore very easy for a user to get disabled for no apparent reason. Of course this is a problem in PM Lite where there is no indication of busy wrap-up.

In PM 2.0 it's possible to remove the key-programming, and therefore remove the fault-possibility.

Could you not just reconfigure the Short Cut Keys to be something different in PMP ?? Make sure as well you are running 2.0(1602) firmware on all modules.

No you couldn't..

As i mentioned: The problem is before v2.0 where you can't redefine your keys.

Make sure you're running 2.0(1602): Why? It has nothing to do with the firmware, it's a user fault

There was a problem with early versions with Users being logged out of hunt groups automatically for no reason. This was resolved in 1.4(27)and was seen again in 2.0(16) relating to DT resetting/slowness issue.
I misread you were using Lite, i see your issue

This is still a bug on 1.3 1.4 and 2.0, it is not the delete key

just picked up on this it seems to be the problem one of my customers is experincing,is it just a problem with pressing the del key or is it as Grandmaster states a bug on all levels of software.Would the ans be to upgrade client to PMpro.

Hi we have the same problem and yes it seems to be if you press the del key the status changes to busy wrap up which disables the extention from the group. If you press delete again it enables the extention again. I have looked in phone manager and you can not delete the del key function unless this can be done in the registery or an ini file.
