Hi All

Can anyone help me please, the scenario is:-

I wish to create a folder called USERS\STAFF I am not sure what share/folder permissions to use so as only administrators and the owner have access to them.

I would also like to copy their present documents into the new location using a batch file at logon without any user actions needed any suggestions.

Thanks in anticipation

Create the share \Users\Share

You'll probably have to remove inheritance from the root drive. Remove everybody except Admins, and owner and give both full control.

As far creating a batch file....I would do a copy command on the present documents folder and put it into the Share folder.

copy C:\<the documents path> <Drive:>\Users\Share

I hope this helps.

is this share located in a windows 2k3 domain if so you can create a GPO to automatically add admin accounts to the list of authorised users.
