We are using IP Manager on a Windows 2000 Server and a combination of IPO 2.1.7 and IPO 1.2 all on XP systems.

We have several hunt groups set up using different users in different departments. We started to roll out version 2.1.7 to one group, but we then started to have major problems with them. Every night when they went onto DND the IP Manager would star their name in the hunt groups (showing them disabled) when they came back in the morning and tried to come off DND they stayed starred on the IP Manager and therefore were unable to receive calls on the hunt group.

Since this I have reverted them back to 1.2 and all is fine. Does anyone know why this was happening and if there is a fix for it.

Thanks for the help.

Are you sure about version 1.2? That is really old.
I think most of the guys here have never seen that build.
If you really use 1.2 user software then i can tell you that when this was used there was no support for Win XP.

You should at least upgrade to the latest 2.1 builds, both IP Office as user software.
Version 3.0 can be used also but only if your phones are supported and the Appearance keys will change the way the customer is used to work with the phones, most don't like that in the EU.

Are you using the "Login/Logout" in PhoneManager? We had an issue way back when that caused users to be disabled from a HG when they shutdown their computers (when PMP was closed and logged out their phone). When they booted their computer and the phone was logged back in it did NOT enable the users in the HG.
