Hi, I am trying to disable the users-and-passwords icon in the control panel and have been trying to locate the file itself but with no luck . I've looked in win sytem32 folder. The others I could find such as the Add/remove hardware, mail, mouse files, etc, but not this particular file that I am looking for . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Run gpedit.msc. Go to User Configuration|Administrative Templates|Control Panel. Under there, entry Hide specified control panel applets. Double click on it, then set it to enabled. Then click Show button, then Add button. In the box type Users and Passwords. Apply and you should be there.

Thanks Wolluf for your response . It worked .
