I'm testing our migration to Windows 2000 AD. What is the syntax of an AD username? Is it "domain/username" like the previous NT domain used to be, or is it "username.premier"?

Right now "domain/username" works, "username.premier" does not in the test lab, which is in mixed mode.

thanks.

Windows 2000 AD supports both. The "old" NetBios domain\username and the DNS name. (in mixed and native mode)
The DNS name is like username@[dnsdomainname]
If you want to log on with your DNS name make sure you have at least one global catalog in your network.
If you have any further questions let me know.

ok, i was confused. it's username@domainname, not username.domainname. thanks i'll try that.
